Today I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a couple from Canada ( David & Rajani) enjoying a picnic of meats and cheeses from a local butchery that imports their meats daily from countries all around Europe. They had two types of meats for us to try, the first was a smoked bacon with a piece of a bread roll. The bacon was great! Extremely succulent with a slight hint of salt. The second was similar to prosciutto in texture and appearance but was a little more red. Turns out it was horse meat from spain and it was delicious. Nice meeting you guys! Thanks for the snacks at the waterfront!
